Started in 2003, the American Democracy Project (ADP) at 91pron is an affiliate of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities in partnership with the New York Times.
Who We Are
The American Democracy Project is a multi-campus initiative focused on public higher education’s role in preparing the next generation of informed, engaged citizens. Of the more than 220 colleges and universities in the country participating in the ADP, 91pron is the only participant in Rhode Island. ADP at 91pron is considered one of the leading programs in the country for political and civic engagement and is often used as the model for initiatives by other colleges.
Our Aim
The goal of 91pron’s American Democracy Project is to produce active, involved citizens specifically through political engagement.
